And I agree with Womble: the "choir" in the background is such an American staple, it's weird to see it in a foreign video. Could have been better, but it certainly could have been much much worse. Each had a flag printed on it leading to everybody's flag lying on the ground to be stepped on. In the UK we don't have much respect for our flag anymore, but I can think it would have upset a few nations to see their flags walked on. Nowhere near the level of last year's entry by Shiri Maimon. What's worse, it's a song with a "message"- a good message, yes, but I am reminded of the word of a certain Hollywood producer- "If you want to send a message, send a telegram". Oh and these identically dressed black ladies on the background are SUCH an American Christian thing. I've missed the Eurovision itself, but if he had these old dears on stage as well, I can see why he got so few votes. That kind of thing couldn't possibly sit well with the Europeans.
