Palestinian Pacifists

Palestinian pacifists hold up the national flag and banners as they protest in front of the Palestinian parliament against the deteriorating situation in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniya rubbished any prospect of civil war amid fighting that has dragged his Hamas faction into a deadly power struggle with the once ruling Fatah party.(AFP/Samuel Aranda)
Funny, but I do not recall even one photo of “palestinian pacifists” protesting against the use of violence against Israeli targets. I always assumed it was, in part, because people were afraid to protest in the palestinian controlled territories against the terrorists’ violence at all , but the above picture and caption show that this is not the case.

Why does the sign say “no” in English (or Spanish I suppose) rather than the Arabic letters for “la”?
It couldn’t possibly be that this demonstation is a show for the foreign press could it?
Great find Dave. A pacifist neo-Pal. Can we have a picture of a snowball in hell next?
I’m with Kibi…. that sign was for foreign consumption only.
