Curious Minds Need to Know
Will someone please tell me what the point of the “million pixels” websites (such as this one) is?
It seems to me like the only winners from it are the owners of these sites, who manage to convince people to purchase pixels on a site with no proven traffic!
Think about it. The owner approaches people to purchase pixels on a HTML page for $1 a pixel, and is able to become an instant millionaire, irregardless of the number of people who actually visit this HTML page. And, as you can see from the end result, it isn’t actually that beneficial for the suckers advertisers.
Can anyone please enlighten me?
