Best. Comeback. Ever

Ok, maybe not the best ever, but at 1-0 down with less than ten minutes left, things were not looking good for the Aussies, competing in their first World Cup in over 30 years. But the boys in green and gold would not say die.
3 goals in 5 minutes, and I’m a happy camper.
Bring on Brazil, baby.

Don’t forget about Mexico’s win over Gorilla Boy’s boys. I welcome every one of those players to cross over the border for what they have done.
Why “alas”?
What are you? The English police?
Point taken. I have removed the offending “alas.”
I’m an American living in Melbourne (who knows some of your friends from shul) and I stayed up to watch this game and the US game. This was incredible. Everybody was totally defeated in the stands – and then they just blew up. The US game, *alas*, not so good.
It’s nice to wake up to good news! (I didn’t stay up to watch the match.)
What a game.. I was ready to swtich the TV off at the 80 minute mark. Lucky I didn’t, I got to see three riveting goals. Each one more exciting than the last.
Aloisi’s goal was something to behold. What a shame we have to play Brazil next, hopefully they won’t be playing their best game.
Even if we lost to Brazil (no shame in it), we have shown that we are not just competing to make up the numbers.
But I truly believe we can beat Brazil if we play our best and they play their worst. And that could theoretically happen.
What a match!!
Go the Aussies….
Not like Aussies to wait till the last minute to do something.
BTW, I left a post about this match and the Brazillian match.
I let snoopy the goon (simplyjews)
know I think there might be a better venue for Brazil.
