I mean, strategically it makes sense... It is one thing the Imams seem to fear so much, yet the majority of muslims can't seem to hide their thrill for the sport. Maybe if we had ongoing world cups that never ceased, continuously throughout the year then muslims would slowly forget themselves and the brainwashing they've submitted to and only cheer for soccer?
