Great News
Egyptian blogger Alaa has been freed, after being detained last month by Egyptian police while demonstrating peacefully. According to Sandmonkey, he endured quite an ordeal, being abused and beaten. But it was the power of the people which helped secure his release. Congratulations, Alaa!
