I am no huge fan of Olmert, and I oppose his plan to withdraw from territories, but we are fighting for our lives here. We need unity. These soldiers can settle their scores later, assuming we win this thing.

We are in the midst of an existential war and these guys are issuing these threats?
We are in the midst of an existential war and the PM is discussing abandoning additional towns???? Two of the soldiers killed early this week were from Yishuv Eli in the Shomron. They should fight and put their lives on the line when the PM says “this success shows I can bulldoze your town, your home, and make you refugee’s”???

No one has a monopoly – that’s the whole point!!! You must recognise loss on both sides and not reject out of hand people’s compassion. Everyone is losing with these actions – especially you who live in the region – and right now in terms of innocent life mostly the Lebanese – not Israel and not Hezbollah. Of course we do not forget Israelis and Palestinians. How is that moral relativism gone wild??? What are you fighting for? Who can kill the most?

Btw some of us also know the history of this region and have had relatives there since long before you arrived.

Shy Guy you are well out of order. Some people care about human life – regardless of religion. Just because you swallow some extremist’s rhetoric, designed to make you immediately disregard any protest against excessive use of force, doesn’t mean others do or will.
