Keep this in mind when someone tells you that silicone’s unsafe.An Israeli woman’s breast implants saved her life when she was wounded in a Hizbollah rocket attack during Israel’s war with the Lebanese group, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday. Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old’s heart. She was saved from death,” said a spokesman for Nahariya Hospital in northern Israel. The woman has been released from hospital.

How big do they have to be?
In a more serious tone, it makes one think if it would be possible to implant layers of kevlar under the skin. Perhaps an implantable layer would be too thin to be of any use, and there are the immunological issues…
I don’t know, I am of two minds on that issue. Don’t these implants, like, squeak, you know what I mean?
On the other hand, if we are talking security here, I am ready to consider the budgeting…
