PETA on Steve Irwin

You can count on the folks at PETA to choose animals over people.
Some animal lovers aren’t shedding any crocodile tears for Steve Irwin. The Aussie naturalist, known as the Crocodile Hunter, was killed last week by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. But the folks at PETA are neither surprised nor upset by his passing.“It comes as no shock at all that Steve Irwin should die provoking a dangerous animal,” PETA’s Dan Mathews tells The Scoop. “He made a career out of antagonizing frightened wild animals, which is a very dangerous message to send to kids.”Does Irwin’s career as a naturalist impress the animal-rights group? Says Mathews: “If you compare him with a responsible conservationist like Jacques Cousteau, he looks like a cheap reality TV star.”

who cares about PETA? Just a pack of idiots that get in the way of the rest of us.
A bit like a swarm of bush flies – a pain in the arse you learn to live with.
I couldn’t care less what PETA says, except as a quick reality check…if they like something and I don’t, then I know my brain is engaged. Likewise, when they piss on the grave of someone who is barely cold, I know that I was and am correct in mourning the world’s and his family’s loss. The irony is that he was working for many of the same goals – but I guess that he wasn’t ideologically pure enough for the Commie asshats at PETA.
RIP, Steve. Even though I never met you, I’ll miss you, as will my wife and kids. You put on a good show, and you made us all appreciate the world and the animals that G-d provided for us. I hope that your family is able to come to grips with your passing, and to continue along the same path that you started on.
PETA “talks the talk” but Steve Irwin “walked the walk”. He spent his money to buy tracts of barren land where he planted trees and made wildlife sanctuaries. In comparison, PETA’s childish antic over the years (such as throwing paint on fur coats in fashion shows) have done nothing more than make them look like hooligans and make it impossible for people to take them seriously. I, for one, admired Steve Irwin and I will miss him greatly. I e-mailed them. you should see the crap they replied wih. they even think jack hanna is a bad guy. what a bunch of putz’s.
I cant believe they said that about him he saved wildlife from danger i am sure they would rather have steve get them than them being killed by other people.
