Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire Penn

Hollyood actor and outspoken Bush/war on terror critic Sean Penn seems to think that he is above the law.

Sean Penn is a wanted man in Toronto after he brazenly broke Ontario’s draconian anti-smoking law by puffing on a cigarette at a press conference in a hotel. “He should be charged,” Health Promotion Minister Jim Watson told reporters. “It was such a flagrant breach of the law,” Michael Perly, executive director of the Ontario Campaign for Action on Tobacco, told the Toronto Star. “It absolutely should be a target.” Penn – who was promoting his Huey Long movie, “All the King’s Men,” at the Toronto Film Festival – is giving ammo to critics who say the ban on smoking indoors doesn’t seem to apply to the rich and famous.
