Prince to the Rescue

The artist now known as Prince after formerly being known as the artist formerly known as Prince, (and 
), has seemingly undergone his latest transformation. He’s now turned into Stephen Baldwin. Prince was seized with a religious fervor recently at the after hours club Xenii. It’s already been established that Prince doesn’t want the DJ to play hip hop songs with obscene lyrics and the club indulges him.
I wonder if Prince songs with obscene lyrics are ok though.
On this night he started lecturing the girls doing go-go dancing in scanty outfits. The half dozen pretty girls gyrate sexily on pedestals throughout the club. He told them ” It’s WRONG to dance like that. You’re too good for this! What would your parents think?
Probably that they were auditioning for a Prince music video.
You shouldn’t be selling yourself so cheap.” The girls protested “We need the money we earn here!” Prince asked them how much they were paid per night and offered to give them TWICE as much to STOP dancing and go home!
Sounds like Prince has become a pretty..err..hardcore born again religious dude. Although there’s still room for improvement.
The dancers were surprised but realistic – “And what would we do next week? We LIKE working here and we LOVE to dance! We’re happy!” Finally Prince gave up and went back to his table for another drink of water.

Last I heard Prince talk ( a couple years ago or so) he sounded like he was Jehovah’s Witness, which is not Christian, but perhaps in his spiritual journey he has come to Christ. (JW’s don’t think Jesus is God but Michael the Archangel). Steven Baldwin’s new memoir_The Unusual Suspect_ is AWESOME by the way, just read it and will review it later this week on Amazon. Great thing is he’s got his priorities straight, actually doing the Great Commission. Another celebrity newly born-again is Jonny Lang, blues guitarist, whose new CD _Turn Around_ is amazing, and message uncompromisingly Christian. In the case of your Prince article, sometimes what seems like hypocrisy might be just personal growth, people change, Prince might be different today than yesterday, maybe. –Florida Christian
