Interesting Way to Go

Some great news to start the day:
ABU Ayyub al-Masri, who took over as leader of terror group al Qaeda in Iraq after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s death, has been reported killed by Arab television.
I guess he refused one interview too many.
Update: I now see that news.com.au have updated the report, which no longer contains the above ambiguity. But luckily Israellycool reader Nick has sent me a screenshot:

The updated report also suggests that news of al-Masri’s death may have been exaggerated.
Asked whether a report on the Al-Arabiya satellite television that Masri had been killed by US troops was true, US spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Barry Johnson said: “No”. A spokesman for the Iraqi defence ministry, Mohammed Askari, said the body of a dead militant was being examined but that “it’s most probably not him”.

Well, they are a little behind over there – no LCD screens etc, so possibly a television could have fallen on him.
Oh well, a dead terrorist is as good as another dead terrorist. As for Mr. Masri – there always will be the next time.
If its true that he really is dead, then YES score one for the good guys! USA and Israel all the way.
Dead, dead, dead. Sooner or later the man will be 6 feet under.
