Capturing a Photo..err..Photographer
';Another foreign press photographer has reportedly been kidnapped by palestinian terrorists.
Palestinian gunmen kidnapped an Associated Press photographer in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, grabbing him as he walked out of his apartment and whisking him away in their vehicle, a witness said.Emilio Morenatti, 37, the photographer, was heading out of his apartment for an AP car, where Majed Hamdan, an AP driver and translator, was waiting. Hamdan said four gunmen grabbed his keys and phone and told him to turn away, pressing a gun to his head and threatening to harm him if he moved. Then they grabbed Morenatti, shoved him into a white Volkswagen and drove off, Hamdan said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
Why would the palestinian terrorists do such a thing? Perhaps it was because they did not appreciate his recent “Smelly Gaza” photo set?
Naaaaa. This is an obvious palestinian PR stunt. The palestinian “government” have a foreign press photographer/journalist kidnapped, and then “secure” his release. Upon release, the kidnapped subject thanks the palestinian government for their tireless efforts and expresses support for the palestinian cause. Forced conversion to Islam is an optional extra.
What makes this even more suspicious than normal is the fact that Morenatti is ostensibly a friend of the terrorists. Or at least a trusted acquaintance. So you can bet that upon release, he will be the palestinian’s best PR person since Jimmy Carter.

A war photographer walking by soldiers and taking photos. Hmmmm…, suspicious. But, wait a minute, isn’t it that what war photographers are supposed to do?

Wow, I was going to write up my own post on Culture for All about what the Aussie imam said, but you really summed it up better than I was going to!
I find it so comical how this imam is now a victim! And who are we to judge his stating that women are pieces of meat, and men are animals, unwilling to control their most base instincts? I mean, that’s his CULTURE and we should respect all viewpoint as equal.
If he wants to stone a woman to death for being raped, why, how can we mighty Westerners complain? And we are giving the poor aggrieved imam health problems, when he only wants people to be holy and stone women to death! We should be ashamed of ourselves!
