Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (L) pulls the old hand buzzer trick on Defense Minister Amir Peretz (R) at Thursday’s security cabinet meeting. Peretz responded that he was shocked by Olmert’s clownish behavior.

Olmert reluctantly meets the new Iranian ambassador.
Olmert introduces his new defense minister, commenting: “Well, having tried Peretz, you know, why the hell not?” He is widely expected to be an improvement.
