Oh, Father! Redux

From time to time, I receive emails from readers expressing disappointment at the fact that the hilarious Israeli-Priest interview I posted almost three years ago is no longer accessible from my site, along with a request to locate it.
Well, thanks to the wonder of Web 2.0 and YouTube, this is no longer an issue. So I now present (once again) – Zionist Death Interviewer.TM

Ouch! Poor priest… that was totally nasty, and horribly embarrassing. I wonder whether the poor guy knew what was coming.
Hey man that wasnt very nice. But dont worry I wont go on a rampage burning synagogues and killing jooos. Really though, it wasnt THAT funny.
This makes me cringe.
Hm. Not funny. And I thought such Jewish ridicule of Christianity was the stuff of Medieval libels. It doesn’t look good.
I think your ‘If I were a Reuters caption writer…’ are infinitely superior.
Whew… thanks, bro, I was getting worried there
donuts ARE everything to some people…
lmao!
This video is embarrassingly, cringe-makingly bad.
I got the point after just one viewing: It’s not about the priest. Instead, it’s an indictment of the Israeli Jew who is completely ignorant about his own history. The priest is there to make the contrast all the more stark, for he is obviously very knowledgable and secure in his faith.
Only the original writers of the skit will know what the original intent was. However, whether the writers were typically ignorant secular Israelis, or they were of the more Jewishly educated variety, it still looks like a scathing indictment of the sad state of Judiasm in the Jewish State.
Stupid, uncreative, and base.
Why alienate our only allies in the world – conservative Christians – when those who truly deserve to be mocked have far more ridiculous and outrageous beliefs that implicate Jews much more invidiously? (Muslims believe that “Ibrahim” nearly sacrificed “Ishmael”, not Yitzchak, that Moses was a Muslim, and that kings David and Solomon were Muslim, and therefore that the holy Temples were mosques and the Temple Mount Muslim property).
This secular Israeli would just as soon mock the sages of Israel as this unassuming priest – I see his irreverence for this ‘person of the cloth’ as reflective of a generally hostile attitude towards religious observance – so why revel in this infantile display of pridedful ignorance that could just as easily be directed against believing Jews?
Take this video off for good, and replace it with one that fosters our alliance with observant Christians and that treats religious observance with the respect it deserves.
