If we went according to the normative definition of a "refugee" most of them would not be considered refugees. And for the record, not every refugee situation is settled by having them return from where they came. In fact, in most cases, refugees end up being settled elsewhere. However Dave, it's great to see you empathising with refugees. I'm sure that you will agree that the best solution for refugees is to return to their homeland, if that be their wish.
