1) It would help people eat the required full amount of matzah in the specified time (even shemura matza).

2) It would encourage leaning (or slumping) to one side during seder

3)If you burn it with the rest of the chametz you would probably not make it to seder.

4) If everyone sold it with the rest of their chametz you could turn a high proportion of rabbis into unknowing high level drug-traders.

5) When moshiach comes we will need to eat an entire sheep for korban pesach….what better way to ensure that “none remains until the morning”
