It’s Been a Blast
As you know, this blog reached its 4-year anniversary last month. That is a long time in blog years, and I guess the pressure of blogging almost every day for this long has taken its toll.
Add to the mix the dearth of comments, lack of time, my frustration at not being able to consistently break the 1000 unique visitors per day mark, and some rather spiteful criticism directed my way, and I am left wondering ”Is it really worth it?”
You will probably consider me a fool, but I am calling it quits at the end of April.
In the meantime, let’s make this final month of Israellycool the best ever.

Happy 1st of April, Aussie Dave!
Say it ain’t so! Is this the end of an era? Don’t you know that Jews don’t celebrate April Fools? We are God’s joke on the world. We have no need to prank each other.
Please don’t go Dave. We hardly knew ye.
Didn’t you do this last year as well?
I’m sorry to see you go.
You shouldn’t take a lack of comments for a lack of interest. Your readers are also pressed for time. And, like me, they probably don’t comment unless they have something original to say or feel VERY strongly about an issue. I don’t like to comment just for the sake of commenting. Lots of interesting sites show only spare commenting.
In any case, I wish you the best of luck. It was nice having your voice out there.
NOOOOoooooooooooo!!! Don’t go!
P.S. Chag sameach!
