Ruminations

Ok, so I must admit my faux I Quit post qualifies for lamest April Fool’s prank ever. I guess I thought you would have short memories, or at least those without short memories would be too busy changing diapers to realize I was up to no good…again (yes, I’m talking about you, Nighthawk). And this didn’t help either. I can promise you that I won’t be trying this prank again. At least not for the next 5 years.

Although I do not have any intention of hanging up my blogging boots just yet, the frustrations I spoke of in my post are very real, especially the lack of comments. What I have been trying to create here at Israellycool is a real sense of community, and not just a relatively one-sided conversation. I once again suggest encourage implore you all to comment more often.

The keen-eyed of you may have noticed the absence of Pajamas Media banners from my site. The reason is simple: I did not renew my contract with Pajamas Media. Let’s just say that I joined PJM with ideas as to what it was about, only to find  it was all about something else. And if I am being too subtle, you can always read Lair’s take (no prisoners).

What quitting PJM also means is that I can now place advertising on this site. So if you would like to help support Israellycool, but want something in return, you can order a Regular Blogad or Premium Blogad.

Ok, back to work.

I’ve become quite skilled in the art of diaper changing. At least fast enough to read your blog at least once a day Dave. Chag Sameach to you and your family!

You have to do what is best for the site, I have to say that whilst I read a number of PJM Blogs I don’t think they do enough for smaller sites which tend to be neglected. The main problem ofcourse is that it isn’t difficult to help send traffic to other blogs, they just don’t bother.
