I wish we could say it is only the Vatican that is this mixed up but the entire world seems to have embraced Mahmoud "What Holocaust?!" Abbas... Whenever you challenge them they bring up the "M" word... Abbas is only "Moderate" in his attire, the only difference between him and Arafat is that he has a better PR person (i.e.: He is just a better & bigger LIAR)... Far from being a "moderate" the man has blood on his hands. It is not just that he gave Gaza to Hamas (with Israel's blessing (!!!!!!!)), but his own Fatah/Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigade is still active in targetting and killing Israelis. Israelis are so desperate for peace that there seems to be this collective delusion that has taken over the nation. The need and want for peace is so great that they see peacekeepers where there are none. There is this belief that we can TURN PEOPLE into peace-makers but history has proven this notion WRONG WRONG WRONG! Arafat could not be changed, Abbas cannot be changed, Hamas will not be changed... And they are laughing all the way to the bank! Israelis need to realize they are in an active, all-out conflict and begin confronting its enemies. This is the only tactic that has proved itself. The "peace experiment" was tried, tried, tried, and tried again. Heck, even Barakes 2000 offer of 97% of West Bank, 100% of Gaza, 3-5% of Israeli-proper & East Jerusalem was rejected by Arafat and the Palestinians (who didn't even raise a pinky in trying to pressure ARafat to accept!). It is time to put the "peace makers" hat AWAY and go back to defending the populace. Israel went to the Arabs with the peace offer enough times already. It was a noble effort to be commended, the first time in history where the WINNER OF THE WAR and the STRONGER PARTY DECIDED, WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE, TO MAKE CONCESSIONS TO THE WEAKER. But still, it failed. Israel now needs to defend herself, when the Arabs are trully ready it will be THEM who come to Israel.
