I think such support is being offered because Evangelicals see Jewish values as being similar to their own and they wish to support a culture of life, rather than suicide murdering, head chopping and death.What purpose is there in alienating one of the few good friends Israel has? They are the only group I know of who will support Israel regardless of the political costs to them. Both Jews and Evangelical Christians should work together. We each have the same enemis. And perhaps as important as any reason, there are many of them.I was told by a very eminent Rabbi once that until the Day of Judgement, there is basic agreement on Israel and Zionism.I am prepared to accept their valuable support in the short-term and leave it to the future to find out who was right and who was wrong!
