I write as someone sitting, right now, in one of Britain's universities. Most people are unaware or resigned about this: or actively supportive of it. I'm afraid that being anti-Israel is not only uncontroversial, it is strongly orthodox in Britain, and dissenting views are ignored or marginalised. Anti-semitism is at the highest it has been in the UK (in terms of attacks) since the dark and brief days of the British Union of Fascists in the '30s. This is largely because of our growing Islamic population, but helped by an establishment so suffused with anti-Israeli sentiment either out of old-fashioned ignorance, or old-fashioned bigotry. I believe in the British tradition like Bibi does. Lots of people do; unfortunately most of them aren't British. It is time our useless little nation changed its name; as the Roman Empire's centre is now mere Italy, so today's Britain so utterly fails to resemble the great nation and people of old, that it would be helpful for all if it was called something altogether different. There will be many more such dark days; dark weeks, months, and years ahead, as the lights go out, and the plug is pulled, and all the remaining vestiges of genuine Britishness die out, with only an Leftist-Islamic husk of a place left. It has long been on this path. Its disgusting betrayal of Israel after the War was but one of its beginnings: a hideous mixture of cowardice, malice and duplicity. The British spine long since folded. The whole problem re: Academia is captured in this one fact: a large number of Oxford University colleges serve only halal meat, and were caught by the student press having done so for years, even when they have only one or two Muslims there at a time. The establishment have made their peace, and not with Israel, but her enemies - a considerable number of whom live within our borders.

It will have – probably – little effect.
