About That Incident With Syria

CNN has reported that the recent IAF flyover into Syrian airspace was in fact an air strike after all.

Middle East and US sources have told CNN that the IAF may have targeted “Hezbollah weapons coming into Syria or transiting through the country from Iran”, and may have involved Israeli ground forces. According to these same sources, the strike “left a big hole in the desert” in Syria, and the Israeli government was very happy with the success of the operation.

This, of course, doesn’t change anything regarding Reuters’ dishonesty. They were reporting that the IAF bombed targets at a time when neither side was claiming this, and presumably had no way of knowing.

Update: Syria has denied that IDF ground troops were involved in the operation.

The fact is that Israel did invade another nations air space, drop munitions and then leave. Although both countries are already at war, this was more proof that Israel doesn’t want peace with anyone, but only wants to dominate the area.
