More Zionist (Air)Craftiness

It looks like the media blackout was not the only blackout involved in the recent IAF operation over Syria.

Iran is concerned over the failure of Syria’s air defense systems to detect the Israel Air Force non-stealth aircraft that reportedly carried out an attack inside Syria last month, the American weekly Aviation Week reported on its website on Wednesday.

According to the report, Israel was able to disrupt Syria’s radar and air defense systems and render them ineffective during the IAF strike. The website reported that Israel used an electronic device, installed in a plane that circled the area, to disrupt Syria’s defenses.

The weekly maintained that Iran is especially concerned over the failure of Syria’s Russian-made radar systems. Iran has used similar systems in the past, and is slated to purchase more radar equipment in a future deal worth $750 million. This equipment is apparently designated to protect Iran’s nuclear facilities against attacks from the air.

According to the report, Israel used highly advanced equipment to jam Syria’s defenses, similar to the equipment used in the U.S., which can completely black out a radar system, thus neutralizing the defense missile systems which rely on it.

The website added that since the IAF attack in Syria, many experts around the world have speculated on the reasons behind the fact that Syria’s defenses failed to detect the Israeli planes and prevent the attack.

The publication also said that the technology used to disrupt the Syrian defenses had the capability to misinform the targeted radar system and create a false reading, thus diverting attention from the actual aircraft. The website did not name the kind of technology it was referring to, nor did it attest to the quality of its performance.

In 1982, during the war in Lebanon, Israel operated what was then considered the cutting edge of electronic equipment to disrupt and misinform Lebanese defenses. This equipment facilitated the Israeli attack on Syrian air defense batteries in Lebanon.

Don’t you mean the alleged IAF operation over Syria?

You are just talking hypothetically as of course you know such an operation never occurred.

Well, I just want to say that had such an operation occurred, which I know it didn’t but I am just speaking hypothetically here, had such an operation occurred I as an American would be very grateful that Israel did what it did because if Syria had nuclear technology it would have not taken the terrorists very long to receive that technology and use it within America.

So, hypothetically speaking I would want to thank Israel for what they did, for I would realize while they did it solely because it was in their interests to, it was also in our interests to ensure that Syria doesn’t obtain nuclear technology and if our leaders were afraid to do something about it I would be glad there were those out there who weren’t.

Of course I am just talking hypothetically here, as of course none of this ever happened.

    I dont get it..

    lets see:

    1) Which country has a nuclear arsenal in the M-E?
    2) Which country has been belligerent twds its neighbours and has actually carried out attacks aka ‘incursions’ against its neighbours?
    3) Which country espouses freedom and right to free speech but once you start to practice that same freedom and question and critque it, you are labelled and ostracised?

hmmm – I reckon its not a tough issue

but hey… its the arabs right?,,, they are always the naughty boys in the playground…the israelis naah they are the good guys ALWAYS… FULL STOP

what a sad sad hypocritical world we live in. :(

    KKK,

    1) Israel may or may not have nuclear weapons but they are a deterrent, if they do exist. How many countries have we threatened to unleash them on? Iran has bluntly stated its intentions.

    2) How has Israel been belligerent against its neighbors? Kind of a ridiculous statement, considered it is our hand that is constantly outstretched for peace.

    3) Criticizing Israel exclusively and disproportionately reeks of something else. Just be honest with yourself.

Yes, it is a sad hypocritical world. Thanks to those like you.
