Israeli News Briefs – October 29th, 2007

  • The palestinian soccer team is blaming Israel after it missed its World Cup qualifying match. In other news, the palestinians have a soccer team eligible to try qualify for the World Cup, despite the fact that they do not have a country.
  • We really should Ban Ki-moon.
  • A palestinian traffic police officer has died after misusing his weapon.
  • The Israeli Attorney-General has stated that former president Moshe Katsav may have had consent from his accuser when misusing his.
  • Dutch defense officials have taken exception to Israel’s claim that their missile ships were responsible for the recent Israeli satellite television disruptions, with one saying they expected better treatment since they “agreed to become part of UNIFIL with the basic goal of defending Israel.” Talk about spending too much time in a dutch oven.
