Horsing Around

horse-kibbutz.JPGMazal tov to Victoria Derby winner Kibbutz, who is a horse (of course).

I don’t know much else about Kibbutz except that he’s part owned by former Australian cricketer Simon O’Donnell. And his name is Kibbutz.

How he got named after an Israeli collective community is beyond me. But it is for that reason alone that I have dedicated this post to him.

If any of you can unlock the mystery surrounding this fine horse’s name, feel free to enlighten us.

Update: The (Zionist) plot thickens.

Kibbutz has been set for next Saturday’s Victoria Derby, with Hayes revealing the Golan gelding was bought as a tried horse. “We got him around the same time as we bought The Fuzz,” he said.

i put chai dollars on kibbutz and won!!

    odds were 4.60

goes to prove your best bet to win is to put money down on the horse that has the best name.
