- Israeli Vice Premier Chaim Ramon has stated that the IDF pullout from Gaza – which has encouraged terrorists to fire more Qassam rockets than ever into Israel – was a wise decision. No word yet on what he thinks about his pullout from the mouth of the female IDF soldier.
- Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni has told her Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit that Egypt must put a stop to weapons smuggling into the Gaza Strip. Which raises the question: is Viagra also considered a weapon?
- Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak could learn a thing or two about the art of negotiation.
- Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Dardari has rejected the latest appeals from Israel to attend the US-sponsored Annapolis peace conference. Umm, Mr Dichter, about that intelligence.
