Very touching!
I enjoyed it – yashar koach to you both!
I wish you had done one much earlier… and under better circumstances, I might add.
Still, very interesting look at the Oz elections by you both, and perspective on your dad’s illness.
It was interesting to get a better local perspective on the election results.
The 2006 elections in the States have been portrayed as anti-war, when they were clearly anti-scandal and anti-spending/growth of government.
The Oz elections are being played-up as a descent into dhimmi.
I don’t know if your dad remembers this, but back in 1975 the USS Coral Sea docked in Perth for about a week during “Coral Sea Days” I was stationed aboard this aircraft carrier and we were given a very warm reception by the people of Perth. So all these years later I just want to thank you Mr. AussieDave Sr. and to the people of Perth for your friendship and hospitality.
Dave,
A pleasure and pleasant surprise to hear from you and your new co-host.
I was wondering what Jewish life is like in Perth. A city I’ve often wanted to visit?
