Those Crazy Ma’aniacs
Ma’an News Agency, which I quote frequently on here to show their, err, creativity with the truth, are at their creative best with this report:
The director of the statistics department in the Palestinian ministry of Prisoners and Freed Prisoners, Abdul-Nasser Farawnah released on Sunday a comprehensive report about the long term Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails showing that many of them have entered the Guinness Book of Records .
According to the report, Palestinian prisoner Sa’id Al-Ataba has been detained for more than 30 years which is the longest imprisonment in the world. No other political prisoner had served such a long period ; Nelson Mandela had served 26 years, and Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of former US president John Kennedy served 28 years in prison.

Lee Harvey Oswald in Prison? Cool!!!!! He is sharing a cell with Saddam, Yassir, and Zarqawi. I like that description,,,,,,, H’mmmmm Prison……
And the US Marines are incarcerating more with every Apache Attack. Isn’t this the same prison where all those groups of 72 virgin goats are pastured?

Plus..Not only would I want to see a fact checker about this, because I find their prison sentence record amazingly unbelievable(must be a mistranslation), I love how they always call murderers “political prisoners”. Must be a cultural thing about murder not being a crime or sin or something.
I can think of one cop killer…i mean political prisoner whose been in jail for 24 years now. And I know some states have mandatory minimums of 25 years for some crimes.
Didn’t Rudolph Hess serve way more than this guy?
