I know I probably shouldn’t laugh at this, but I can’t help it. Whether it’s the party boy’s nonchalant answers, the reporter’s attempts to ask hard-hitting questions of said party boy, or the image of the reveller running past with a hat strategically covering his private parts, it cracks me up (hat tip: Shy Guy).
And if like me, you thought this was a comedy skit..no. It’s all too real.

My God, what a twit! Can he be for real? Thank you for letting us know that this news item was genuine. Otherwise, I would have assumed that it was a parody.
i think he’s a bit of a brat. but i also think he’s a bit awesome.
i think he’s more awesome than brat, but he sure has guts. so he also gets my approval.
ordinarily i’d want to punch him in the face, but the kid in me says ‘haha up yours grownups!’
That’s freakin’ hilarious. I love how the reporter made a huge deal about the “famous” glasses.

I don’t think he has guts, quite the contrary. He didn’t expect the party to get out of hand, that was a result of his own stupidity: I heard that he had posted a general invite on the Internet. As for guts, he’s afraid to face his own parents, even though he knows he’ll have to, eventually. In the meantime, he won’t either gather up enough bravery to issue an apology. Sticking to your guns, when you have nothing to say, is just the path of least resistance.

His responses weren’t funny. They were pathetic. If he really did have a rapier wit, that might have been a saving…or partly redeeming…grace. But he’s just an inarticulate idiot.
