On a lighter note… let’s share snow-in-the-Holyland stories and photos. Since I don’t have any someone else will have to start….

    Stay warm!

i have something controversial to say.

although i consider myself to be very right wing, left wing academic pinko jews make me proud of being jewish.

no other people in the history of the earth are so concerned about the welfare of the enemy, because at the end of the day, they are also human beings.

they are also human beings…..and of whom, in the most recent polls, the majority support suicide bombings that murder innocent Israelis.

A simple illustration. If the pinkos got their way, there would be no protection wall. A wall that has saved many lives thus far.

Hamas and the like love your left wing pinkos.

no other people in the history of the earth are so concerned about the welfare of the enemy, because at the end of the day, they are also human beings.

At the most elementary level, the Talmudic phrase “Ve’Lo Am Ha’Aretz Hassid” applies to such people.

But I prefer to call them what they are in practice: “Mosrim”. How many deaths and how much suffering have they caused through their encouragement of some of the worst human beasts of history. There is everything to be ashamed about them.

I’m proud of Jews who behave as G-d’s messengers or those Jews who know nothing or little of Judaism but still have the soul-intuitive traits of true kindness and generosity they inherited from their forefathers, not of Jews who betray their own people or others in the name of false causes and warped justice.

Enough misplaced pity. That’s part of their sickness, too.

Speaking of left wing academic pinkos, do any read this blog on a regular basis?

  6. Gravatar

    nevertheless, their intentions are noble.

And that road to hell sure looks like it needs some paving..

    nevertheless

    An oft abused word.

I teach people how to sing. If more people tried singing instead of arguing the world would be a better place and we might have a little peace and certainly more understanding.

  10. Gravatar

And there certainly isn’t anything funny about that.

  11. Gravatar

No, Dave. You’re missing the secret ingredient.

of course there are. they are called christians:
You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
    —Matthew 5:38-42, NIV

or as we know them - the reformed jews

    abunafha,

    You sound like Anne Coulter.

  14. Gravatar

    thank you ;)

  15. Gravatar

    Well, if I count as a left-wing pinko…

I mean, I’m a Democrat, oppose the war in Iraq, and support Barack Obama. However, when it comes to Israel, you could pretty much call me a Likudnik.

  16. Gravatar

dear Joshua, i would call you “misinformed”, living in a “make believe world”…which is pretty much what left-wing pinkos are. ;)

  17. Gravatar

No one can be called a Likudnik and support Obama simultaneously. Read and reconsider.

Behind Obama’s smile, there is no substance. Without any regard for Israel, Obama is not good for America.

I thought the first thing the prez of Iran did in office was pave certain roads.

I’m not sure if my last comment got through, but I want to slip in one more link before Shabbos. This is an article by an Orthodox Obama supporter.

    haha abunafha,

Christians are well infamous for preaching ‘love thy enemy’ and doing the exact opposite.

  21. Gravatar

    @ Joshua B

i can live with that. liberals on the other hand, preach “love thy enemy” and actually act like that.
and force us to do the same.
