The book is extremely well researched, lots of interesting facts that aren't widely known. Among other things, Mlechin writes that it had been Fatah's standard PR tactic from day one of its existence to announce "successful attacks" against various Israeli targets that never happened in reality. Among other things, they once claimed to have destroyed Moshe Dayan's personal garage, despite the fact that Dayan had neither a garage nor even a car at the time. Cheaper and less risky than a real terrorist attack, and PR benefits are just the same.
