Otherwise known as battered wife syndrome.

This 2001 article still rings true today, though some of the personalities are dead and others have been replaced by similar vermin:

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Isn't insanity grounds for being removed from office?

A friend of mine signs her e-mails with:
If cease fires in the name of peace actually produced peace, the Middle East would be the most peaceful place on earth by now.
America's worst president ever, Jimmah Cahtah, the peanut farmer got the Nobel peace prize for-------- his establishment of peace between Israel and the Palestinians?????????????????????

Nail. Head. Hit.

We should be obliterating Hamas, not giving in to them.

Dave,
I think we are on the same page in our views of the Olmert govt.
I want to add one point.
When a group like Hamas (sworn to the destruction of Israel and the genocide of Jews) states that they want a cease fire, it means that the military actions Israel is taking are succeeding.
It is time to increase or at least maintain the actions, not stop them. I just don't understand why Olmert is afraid of winning.

What are you missing? Nothing.
Maybe Olmert is missing the point of "hudna"

And they should have been called a year ago, really. I mean, the mass protests in Tel Aviv should have been the sign that it was over for Olmert.
