She was then to be a brain-fried freak for the rest of her life. She was, to be kind, a brain-fried freak for about 2 months -- but then began to recover. She's relatively normal now. She said that she always knew that I was there, and that she simply couldn't figure out how to reach out to me when I talked to her. There are lots of reasons for comas and brain-trauma, and I know that my anecdote is not data. Still, the argument is not without merit. [I don't know what the son did. If he killed someone, then so-be-it, and let him stay in jail.
