New Theme
';As you know, I have been tinkering around with the site’s theme for the last few weeks. After some unsuccessful attempts, I think I have found the theme for this site. And you’re now looking at it.
What I really like about it is the fact it is classy yet simple. The only downside is it is also used by bloggers who are not so classy (but are simple).
I am open to feedback, but I think my mind is set on this.

Needs a pithy “Aussie Dave™” graphic somewhere. Otherwise, “simple” looks great!

Looking good, man.

It looks too much like so many other bloggers, Dave, and hard to read. I also miss the Koala. Kvetch, kvetch, kvetch.

What? No retiring this year? Am I the only one who gets this? Because I DO get it David. This template will repair the world.

Don’t like. I prefered the prior new theme you tried out. I’d rather go back to the original than this. Sorry.

Damn you, Harry!

I read your articles every day using my feed reader (the “Sage” add-on for Firefox).
I liked the old site name better (Israelli Cool) because it’s … cool … and it more accurately describes what the articles are about. But I can understand that you would prefer a more “personalized” name. You deserve the “fame”.

Is this a not so subtle dig at RS?

soccer dad,
It was a lot more subtle before Harry blew my cover for the second year running!

Really, I hadn’t even seen his post. I just saw “Repairs the World” and guessed that’s what you were spoofing. I didn’t follow your link either.

Soccer Dad,
Harry made the comment in this thread.
The original “new” title for this blog was “Aussie Dave’s place”.After Harry’s comment, I changed it for the benefit of those who haven’t quite caught on.

Little Dickie Kapostein, the real name for Richard Silverstein, is a fanatic anti-Semite and Neo-Nazi who seeks Israel’s annihilation and a new Holocaust. The semi-literate Silverstein would like to be the next Jewish Neo-Nazi after Norman Finkelstein crashed and burned. There has never been an act of Arab savagery against Jews he does not justify, nor an act of Jewish self-defense that he supports. His blog is little more than his exercise in political masturbation, trying to draw attention to himself. He has been unemployed for years.
