We need to look at it from the point of view of the enemy. They are trying to get Israel to cut the fuel supply to Gaza. Last time Israel did this, it gave Hamas a great victory both in world opinion, and strategically by using it as a cover to break into the Sinai and re-supply its Army. Unless Israel is willing to take action and not cave in to "world opinion" there is no point in cutting the fuel. Stan This is a military situation. This is the only place on the planet where idiots attack those who supply them with power, fuel and foodstuffs. It seems to me that if the ragheads attack Israel, it is "just a random attack"; but yet if Israel responds they do it "dis-proportionately" . What in hell is dis-proportionate response to rockets fired into a civilian residential area? As I see it- One attack deserves one response, The ragheads choose the size of their attack, therefore the Israelis should choose the size of the response. When someone allows these attackers to use their home, they are no longer "civilians", but rather, are combatants.
