When Israel wants to do something it spends the time planning. And, rehearsing. Yesterday, I finished Rodger Claire’s book: RAID ON THE SUN. It tells the story about the pilots who flew to Orsirik, in 1981, and blew up the nuclear reactor.

Years of planning! And, there were times the pilots, ready to fly, were called back. (Shimon Peres, on May 9, 1981, wrote to Menachem Bagin and told him he was gonna go public! (Turns out the plans leaked. Ezra Weizman was thought by Begin, to be the “leaker.” And, so Begin made believe the plans were dumped.
