Yeah, I wonder if Jenna Bush's wedding wasn't Saturday, IF Bush might have responded to the sunni's outcry from Lebanon. Once his finger is stayed, though ... it's hard to think that anything floating out there at sea; is gonna make a heck of a difference. Since no one is shooting from offshore. So, Nasrallah burns up a lot of energy now. Let alone, all his arm pumping from Tehran.

While nobody gets to "read" the future; I still think Bush has "something" in mind before leaving office.

Plus, I'd bet he got lots of hysterical calls from his "compadres" in Riyadh. Perhaps, they have misgivings about the rising costs of oil? This, I think, was done to blackmail Bush. To take a harder stand against Israel's borders.

While, Shas stays poised to leave Olmert's government. (Which is the ONLY threat that's real that is on the table.)

Stay tuned. The soap opera gets better and better.

And, you can go up to any bettor's window and place your bets. Bush as a lame duck? Here, I think you'd lose.

Olmert's being squeezed? Yup. But don't forget the "old rule." First put in place by Nixon. Who couldn't find the people skills necessary to beat back the criminalization of his presidency.

Oh, by the way, also keep in mind that Bill Clinton's stock went up when the right-wing nut job, Ken Starr, unleashed the Monica Lewinsky story. For a clue? It means sooner or later Mazuz gets stuck in the sludge he's been throwing at Olmert, and Katsav, too. How far can one lawyer go? Beats me. But one answer is: NOT TO HARVARD.
