Taking the Strip Out of Gaza

Islamist group Hamas has told the main Palestinian telecoms company to block access to pornographic Internet sites in the Gaza Strip, a Hamas government official said on Monday.
Gaza’s Ministry of Communications said in a statement that telecommunications firm PALTEL has agreed to block Internet users in the Hamas-controlled coastal enclave from viewing adult websites starting this month.
“The aim of the move is to protect the Palestinian community from cultural pollution and to protect the young generations from the misuse of the Internet through viewing pornographic sites,” Hamas government spokesman Taher al-Nono said.
Because everyone knows, the main threat to palestinian youth leading moral, productive lives is internet porn.
That, and its pretty hard to concentrate on your suicide bombing mission when you’re more concerned with what you will do to the 72 virgins awaiting you. And how many times.
But back to the report:
An Internet provider in the Gaza Strip, which Hamas seized in June after routing President Mahmoud Abbas’s secular Fatah forces, estimated that about 400,000 Gazans surf the Web and said almost half of them were aged 18-35.
On empty stomachs, no doubt.
Of course, Hamas are not alone in trying to keep their youth on the straight and narrow.
Other Muslim countries such as Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia also control access to some political, social and pornographic websites.
And we all know how successful they’ve been.

The Palestinians keep complaining about Israeli checkpoints. I think the IDF should hand out FREE Playboys, Penthouses, Hustler, pornographic DVDs, Videos to all males in Gaza and the W. Bank. I bet you the lineups would wind for miles. Let’s call it a PR campaign.

BTW, I don’t know where you’re getting your data from, but from the number one porn video in Gaza now is “Teen Camels POV,” and I’m pretty sure the tagline is “If you don’t blow your load, your handler will do it remotely.”

Hamas wants to takeover the lucrative porn market in Gaza rather stop it for moral reasons. Islamic disdain for women rights, abuse of women, etc are all encompassed in porn. Porn is the embodiment of all Islam as practiced today. Hamas can now control the market and make more money to continue terrorizing the neighborhood.

I’d like to start with a ‘hat tip’ to Michael S. Malone. And, to tell ya that InstaPundit links to his book, at Amazon. Which details the AMERICAN NEW FRONTIER.
Not to disappoint, America has been pushing into New Frontiers, now, for centuries. And, Israel’s doing it, too.
What’s that?
TECHNOLOGY. The Internet. The ability to “stay at home,” and still participate. While the arabs can’t sell you a drop of oil for this new road.
Oh, yeah. The old media. That was expensive! But now? They’re as embalmbed as Ted Kennedy’s liver.
As to porn, here ya go. The Net includes this stuff. And, don’t fool yourselves; arabs masturbate, too. Heck, it’s in the fabric of mankind, to be blessed and cursed with sexual desires.
Which keeps a lot of the trash “out of the gene pool” … as it circles the drain.
Of course, the arabs believe that they can “populate the world” like roaches. While the Chinese believe they can curtail folks from having more than one kid.
And, modern technology? That comes into play when raising kids becomes very expensive. And, you can no longer send your kid out with a shovel, and tell him to go into the woods, to find victuals.
As to the NEW FRONTIER; you are on it. And, most governments haven’t figured out how it can be trampled or impeded. You know, there are people who are hiding their access to technology with “tricks.” Just as europeans did, when hitler’s propaganda machinery held sway. And, then? People buried short-wave radios. But the truth hung out there.
Winston Churchill said: Malice always attacks truth.
Truth, however, is what lasts. And, recovers.
And, all of this is possible because technology, starting in the 1980’s, discovered THE NEW FRONTIER.
Malone, by the way, once worked at Hewlitt/Packard. He was in Silicon Valley when it started. So, it’s nice to know the NEW FRONTIER, full of amateurs, beats the pants off those who pay their mortgages writing propaganda.

Turns out the mafia got itself a better reputation!
Even though both groups work with goons, to send terror up the spines of ordinary folk.
And, hamas? They’ll never have a marlon brando playing one of their godfathers. Won’t happen.
All the arabs can do is snuff out the films made in hollywood. So what?
