As to journalists “getting it right,” how about a reality check. Journalists didn’t even get JFK’s killing right! Heck, Lenny Bruce did a riff; on Time’s “dirty picture.” Which showed Jackie crawling on the trunk of the limosine “TO GET HELP.” I kid you not.

Lenny Bruce said the lie was vulger. Hitting all the comedic notes, as well.

Do people today ask “Who Is Lenny Bruce?” He was a “nice Jewish Boy” who banged open the doors to “rat-tat-tat” spritzing routines.
