I think Chicken run is an evil Iranian plot to drive me out of my mind by being made to sit through it 9 times by annoying pre-school nephews.
Then again I also think stop motion is too technoligically advanced for them so maybe not.

The connotations of a concentration camp setting in Chicken Run was a topic of discussion when the movie originally was released.

To be honest, I also did not make the connection with a POW-camp but indeed some different camp. Because of the plan to destroy the chickens.

The movie isn’t really “spoofing” “The Great Escape”; it’s more of a humorous tribute. The makers of “Chicken Run” are great admirers of “The Great Escape.” (As am I.)
But how splendid it would be if it were a Zionist plot! Maybe then our American kids would get at least some of the truth.
Alas, I fear not.
