Interesting report and I've no doubt they probably looked at those and newspaper stories when they decided to make up their own but it was the specific address that interested me.
It was Cafe Lou last time I was there, I just wondered why they would be that specific.

It's like when the U.S invaded Iraq and a group of terrorists said they had abducted a soldier and then released a picture of what was blatantly a GI Joe sat in a badly constructed model room.
Except they seem to be claiming the kidnap of people who have been missing for years.

I suspect they are petty crooks hoping for ransom money. They obviously think we are dumb what with being the sons of apes and pigs 'n' all.

And concerning the French restaurant:

perhaps it's something like this:

"Near this time Hasouna threw a hand grenade into the Restaurant that miraculously did not explode."

About Dana:

Terror Group Claims to Hold Missing Woman
Wednesday, January 05, 2005
(...)
We announce before all and before international-related institutions that we have abducted the guard Dana Bennet in the Galilee area in August 2003," the Arabic-language leaflet said.

"We demand the murderer (Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon apologize to our people for all violations and crimes that were committed by the occupation army," the leaflet added. It said information about Bennet would be released only when the prisoners are freed.
(...)
In August 2003, Bennet had finished her shift as a waitress in the town of Tiberias, on the Sea of Galilee, and failed to arrive at her home.

And:

From Beirut to Jerusalem
August 7, 2003, 8:31 PM

On Sunday, July 27, just hours after abducted IDF soldier Oleg Shaikhet's body was found, Hizbullah chief Hassan Nasrallah broadcast a call for the kidnapping of more Israelis.

Just a few days later, 17-year-old Dana Benett went missing, and then 19-year-old Eliezer Zusia Klughaupt disappeared. Several Israelis have reported attempted kidnappings - some at gunpoint - from which they were able to escape. Most of these attempted abductions emanated from the same area in the North. All have taken place since Nasrallah's call.

The fact that Benett and Klughaupt disappeared shortly after Nasrallah gave the order to kidnap Israelis naturally lends to the impression that Hizbullah has Israeli Arabs working for it who, like al-Qaida members, receive their orders from television broadcasts by their commander.

Thanks for finding out about Dana. It is really weird that they are so specific in their claims that are obviously lies, that is unusual for terrorists (although back in Arafat's heyday he would claim credit for every gas explosion in Israel.)
