President in suicide terror scare
Only when you read the story do you realize that there was no attempted attack involving a palestinian with a bomb belt; rather, an Israeli border policeman who committed suicide while French President Nicolas Sarkozy was about to depart Israel.
Mere poor choice of words or deliberate attempt to sensationalize?
I report, you decide.

I have nothing to base myself on but precedent. How often in history has someone contemplating suicide done so under such circumstances and in public.
Just way too above the norm for me.
Let the conspiracy games begin!
Don’t know which media source is being quoted but I found this at LiveLeak.
Had it not been a Bedouin Arab, care to bet your last shekel that TikkunHamas wouldn’t have seized the opportunity that this incident was further proof that Israel didn’t really want a peace?
Very sad. Condolences to the the family.
I don’t think the jump to say it was a suicide was right, I think we should have waited until all the circumstances had been checked out.
Sarkozy hadn’t even taken off before we were all told that it was a suicide and the family really deserve the respect of not hearing about it like that on the news.
Investigation before speculation I think.
