Dave, you’re in Israel and are therefore much closer to the situation. While I understand the IDF’s desire never to leave a man behind on the battlefield, how can anyone NOT see the horrible precedent that this has set? Not only will terrorists redouble their efforts to kidnap Israelis (not just soldiers, either), they won’t even have to keep them alive!

If both kuntar and Nasrallah aren’t dead within the month it will show how badly we have handled this, I’m still hoping we only let him out to lead us to Nasrallah.

BHGeek, no-one in Israel has the guts to tell the families that their loved ones are dead, or as good as dead, unless there is very solid proof (such as a body).
And steve87, I was hoping that some kind of device would be implanted into kuntar and denotated when he and nasrallah were kissing and exchanging vows. I was disappointed. Perhaps a virus…?
