"We can look at this from two different sides… either the UN isn’t doing enough, or, the UN is announcing its support (bravo!) of Israel in the Israeli-Lebanese conflict.

The reality is that the UN is a relatively impartial entity in Lebanon and for it to completely choose one side over the other, while cowardly to you and I, may go against its policy."

By putting themselves right between armed militants they are making themselves de-facto hostages of Hezbollah.

And we both know NATO knows this very well. If NATO had any intrest in peace, they'd create an actual demilitarized zone without any villages, any people, and DEFINEATELY without any hezbollah in between. Then they'd make said zone hard to cross.

Thanks for the quick reply, Dave!

I'm not sure how it posted my comments either. When I submitted them, it took me to a page announcing me as a spanner and then redirected me to the Wikipedia spam site.

Ms. Missive,

You are definitely not banned from my site. I am not sure why it is doing that, and how you were able to post a comment if that message did come up.

I suppose it's a glass half full or half empty situation. I see it as half full... at least they're acknowledging their desire to assist Israel.
