Hey I’m an Iranian and shame of my own people, I can’t agree with you anymore man, Ahmadinijad is a total idiot and disgrace to human being. It’s time for dumb iranians to wake up and start living like human beings. What they are doing doesn’t help them gain respect from the world, or Iranians like me.

Pulled out? Perhaps the competition was a little too hot for them? If wars are any measure, perhaps they should quit the field before (or after?) filling their pants (the wrong way).

If Iran is actually punished, even if the action was legitimately illegitimate, I would be surprised. If the political correctness of modern secularism (which is largely anti-semitic) does not serve as a point, albeit quietly noted, to prevent sanctions or whatever, then the fear of being terrorized might well work. We aren’t exactly dealing with the most… strongly backboned?… yes… strongly backboned people on the planet in the IOC.

I am not trying to rain on your parade, I am only suggesting that you not hold your breath, if I am hoping for punishment. The more the merrier, for some nations.
