Kidnapping is big business in a lot of Africa particularly places like Nigeria where there are offshore oil platforms and a lot of foreign workers.
For that reason a lot of the foreign workers take helicopters between the rigs and the airport without ever setting foot on Nigerian soil proper.
I wouldn’t be worrying about Iran getting cosy with them, we (israel) have very good ties with a few of their neighbours but China are the real players in the countries running through the tropic of cancer.
Or you could have read the story and got exactly the same info….whoops.
Really crossing my fingers right about now. I would rather him captured and killed by Nigerian criminals then captured alive by Hezbollah…the price will be greater for the latter. As messed up as that sounds.
