I think today's culture if anything, has brainwashed you. The Torah is what we believe in, and according to it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Polygamy. So either you believe in the Torah or you don't, you can't pick and choose my friends. If it's not prohibited and wise men actually were Polygamists, you simply don't have a leg to stand on to argue against it based on Torah. We don’t see G-d condemning people for practicing Polygamy in the Bible, so why are you? You'll believe the trash that the feminists constantly bombard you with and somehow think it's more reliable than G-d's word. It bothers me that changing culture seems to be the way that people rationalize picking and choosing from the Torah, doesn’t work that way…. If the culture changes and contradicts what is in the Torah, than the culture is at fault, not the Torah. Personally polygamy is not for me, but the guy in the article sounds like one wise man indeed.

Yes, you make a good point. And since the man hasn't legally married any of them, he can't be nabbed for polygamy.

They just found someone who's going to respect them as much as they they think they deserve. It's actually not that hard to pull with some women. There are quite a few who are willing to get into this style of relationship if you say "I love you, but I love her too". Not a huge number, but there are enough to make this very achievable for a bloke if you've got the moxy to front up to them. Consider the sleazes who get 'a lot of action'. They're always thinking with their d*ck, but if a woman's going to go home with you on the first night you meet, that's all they're thinking about as well.

I'm sad to say I know of at least one other Messianic Jew that believes polygamy is perfectly OK by Torah's standards. (It should be noted that the Messianic Jewish Alliance withdrew their ordination of this guy.) Regarding polygamy in the Torah, it's clear some of the patriarchs did indeed practice polygamy. While the Torah does not prohibit polygamy, possibly due to the culture at the time, we must understand polygamy is not commanded by the Torah; there is no mitzvah to have multiple wives.

What on earth is wrong with those women? This would be kind of funny if there were no children involved. The poor kids don't stand a chance.
