Disaster Averted, Thanks to Israel

Another Israeli contribution to humanity: Angelina Jolie breastfeeding pics.

Brad Pitt was only able to take photos of Angelina Jolie breastfeeding recently circulated by the American fashion magazine W after an editor at the magazine flew off to Tel Aviv on a last-minute hunt for camera film.

W, which is to publish the photographs in its November issue, has reported that the A-lister was determined to shoot his wife, often described as the most beautiful woman in the world, with Kodak Tech Pan film, which hasn’t been manufactured for four years.

After Pitt used all 40 rolls of the film the magazine obtained for him on eBay, W’s photo editor Nadia Vellam managed to track down someone who offered her 30 rolls – in Israel. She then had mere hours to find someone in Tel Aviv who could get on a plane to France with the film that very day.

The magazine’s upcoming issue features Jolie in a black-and-white shot that shows her breastfeeding, presumably one of the couple’s newborn infants.

In the cover shot, she smiles at the camera with her blouse lowered, revealing part of her left breast with a baby’s fingers touching it.

Don’t thank us, we’re givers.

Update: Jolie’s father Jon Voight was unavailable for comment.

Mm. Those pics. Some of them are just plain awesome. Did not know that Brad Pitt had this talent in him. Keep on shooting, Brad!

Yay Israel for stocking really really out of date merchandise!

Must we go here, and on a Yom Tov, no less?! I mean, maybe it would have been a bissel appropriate for Shavuot……..

    1. What a topic to post smack after Yamim Nora'im. There's an 'Al Chait' violation here somewhere. :( 2. I'll still leave you dangling with the connection to Shavuot. I'm sure the assimon will shortly drop. :)

Yes, I know what you meant. I was just surprised by your chutzpah. This was a very tongue-in-cheek post. I am surprised you would single out this post, given the usual fare on here. I disagree there is anything inappropriate. It is not like I posted any of the pictures themselves, and as Ahuva noticed, it is more a comment on how out-of-date Israel is in some respects.

Sorry for being candid. If only I were shy……

You said it, not me. :)

No one's perfect and I'm referring to me. See Mesilat Yesharim, chapter 11. Ahuva's point makes for an interesting subject on its own. Personally, I would have found another way to bring it up. It certainly is not the main point of the above article and you can see that from everyone else's posts here. On the way out to frolic in the north. Moadim Le'Simcha.

I look forward to your blog. In the meantime, I will try to tailor my blog to your sensibilities.

And make it snappy! (From an undisclosed location up north)
