Terrorism respects no borders, either. This is a legitimate reason to be angry--for the US. Harboring terrorists is a crime against humanity.

Well Syria said that it completely disrespected their sovereignty and borders, which I think is a legitimate excuse to be angry.

I have opposed the war in Iraq from the start because I believe that it was a massive tactical error in the war on terrorism (It probably had more to do with oil interests then terrorism). This action was a good move. It sent a clear message to Syria. Stan

Syria might better understand the message that was sent -- DON'T harbor and support terrorists.

"A flagrant violation of international law"? Considering the fact that Al Qaeda declared war on the US, I don't see how that can be so.

I don't think there will be any war with Syria over this incident. But I do believe that the next war with Israel will involve coordination between Syria, Hizbullah, and Iran.

I'm not really sure what to think of this. On the one hand it certainly got the job done, on the other it was clearly a flagrant violation of international law (I dunno about 'human rights') and is massively damaging for US relations with the rest of the region. Do you think a war with Syria may becoming our way? Or is it too soon to tell?
